Disability Law Queensland is looking for a lawyer with a minimum of 2 years succession planning experience who is seeking to make a difference in the lives of people with disability.
This is a new part-time role. We are seeking a candidate who can work with us 20 hours per week. We are a truly flexible, family-friendly practice that will work with the right candidate to make sure that the role suits their lifestyle.
We will offer an initial 6 month contract with a possibility of extension.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

- Demonstrated ability to provide succession-planning services to clients including taking initial instructions, drafting wills and power of attorney documents and providing advice in relation to guardianship, administration and informal supported decision-making.
- Previous experience undertaking estate planning for families that involve people with disability.
- An understanding of what constitutes a good life for a person with disability.
- A current unrestricted Queensland Practising Certificate.
